On a well-deserved break during an Alternative Spring Break project, we visited the Crossroads Arts Alliance, centered around an old NAPA auto-parts store in downtown Gordo Alabama where we had the pleasure of meeting Glenn House Sr., an illustrator and former professor in the University of Alabama’s Book Arts Program. He shared his expertise in printing and paper making techniques, and gave us the opportunity to use a Washington press. We also met Artist Jessica Peterson, who gave us a letterpress demonstration.
